Appearance of this product is changed, step by step, from liquid to paste and solid with the increase of moles of EO added. And also, exchanges appearance of this product by suitable blending with different molecular weight without property damages.

Solubility and Affinity

All of PEG products are soluble in water without problems, So can be choice water as economic solvent. And also solve in several organic solvents, such as Alcohol, Ester, Glycolether and aromatic hydrocarbon. But decrease affinity in organic solvents according to increasing of molecular weight.

Absorption / Lubrication

All of liquid PEG appears absorption property. Keep in protect moistures during use. But if increase molecular weight of PEG, decrease water absorption. If Mw is above 1000, they loose nearly absorption property in water. This product also has excellent heat stability and lubricant.

Poisonous and irritant character

If contacts eye and skin, low irritancy. Can be apply cosmetics and pharmaceutics on this reasons.

Other chemical property

Ether groups in PEG structure are very stable and do not hydrolysis. And also storage long time without bacteria or mold. Can be applied the carrier liquid for heat transfer because this product also appear high boiling point.

• Rubber industry : Release agent for Rubber foam or later foam Release agent for Tire molding, Lubricants for extruder molding
• Metal industry : Rust inhibitor, additives for grease, lubricants
• Paper industry : PEG-200,300,400 : Softener, wetting agent, PEG-1500 : Lubricant for calendering
• Wood industry : Shrinkage inhibitor, treatmenter for wood
• Cosmetics : Intermediate for cosmetics, Additives and base material for handcream shampoo, lotion
• Pharmaceuticals : Base material for cream, Injection solvent, Emulsifier, Pispersant, Cleaner, Lubricant, Plasticizer
